TwinCafé 28.09.2021

English

Our next topic:
Urban Innovation & Social Change
as Twinning Activities (28.09.2021, 18.30 – 19.30 CET)

Every region and city faces challenges and tries to develop in areas like new economy, mobility, urban design, contemporary art, sports, social affairs, and education, right? Why not taking these challenges, efforts and ideas to a city twinning level as well!?

On 28th SEPT with Yuriy Fylyuk we have an exciting and enthusiastic expert, who will share his experiences as a founder of “Teple Misto” a platform for the integral development of the city through activation of the city’s proactive potential and the establishment of a triangle interaction between business, state, and civil society. And he shares his insights as CEO of the Promprylad.Renovation project, an innovation center on the premises of an old plant, following the impact investing model, where investors contribute to social changes in the region and get a return on investment in the form of dividend payouts. Last but not he will discuss his Urban Space concept with us.

TwinCafé? What is it?

Our offer to network and exchange!
Conferences, congresses are great. You can meet other people who share your passion and committed to twinning and civil society cooperation. However, it is quite tragic to be able to exchange ideas with like-minded people and actors from other twinned towns, associations and initiatives only once or twice a year within the framework of such happenings. Especially in times of the pandemic. With our TwinCafé we offer you an alternative to network and exchange.

Every 4-6 weeks, we invite you to a compact online session in meet-up-style.
Each time we provide you with useful, informative, and valuable input and opportunities for facilitated networking and exchange.
Topics and guests will always be announced a couple of weeks before the upcoming date.

Moderation: Björn Müller-Bohlen
