Project Details
Zusamme Solar
Short Description and Goal
Across the border, a French energy cooperative and a German cooperative, both citizens, have united their projects to finance four photovoltaic solar roofs on industrial buildings in Colmar.
Detailed Description
The approaches of these two cooperatives are so close that they had to unite. It’s done with this “Zusamme! ”(Literally“ Ensemble ”in German, the regional dialect spoken in this border area) which represents four photovoltaic installations of 100 kWp, or 2,600 m2 of panels on the roofs of industrial buildings in Colmar (precisely three in Colmar, one in Wintzenheim) .
These shed roofs – a word borrowed from English to designate the sawtooth roofs typical of buildings in the textile industry of the second half of the 19th century – created by the textile industry are well oriented but require more work. implementation as simple roofs. There are still many examples in the Haut-Rhin.
The Zusamme project cost € 760,000, financed by Énergie Partagée (10.5%), FESA Energie Geno (10.5%) and Énergies Partagée en Alsace (1%), but also by a subsidy from the Alsace Region (16 %) and a bank loan from the ethical bank La Nef (62%).
